Research on the Education Model Integrating Occupation, Curriculum, Competition and Certificate for Marine Engineering Technology Major in Higher Vocational Maritime Colleges
Abstract
posts, separation of skill competitions from teaching, and detachment of vocational certification from classroom instruction, failing to satisfy
the development demands of the shipbuilding industry. Centered on the integration of occupation, curriculum, competition and certificate
(OCCC Integration), this paper defines its internal logic and core educational essentials for the specialty, sorts out relevant supporting foundations from policy, industrial and institutional practice perspectives, and establishes a cultivation path covering curriculum restructuring,
competition-driven teaching reform, certification alignment and industry-education integration. Practical outcomes of the proposed model are
analyzed subsequently. The study verifies that the OCCC Integration mode effectively improves talent training quality and provides practical
references for educational reform of maritime-related majors in higher vocational colleges.
