Study on Teaching Design and Classroom Implementation Path of Large Unit of Physical Education Based on UbD Theory

Fangquan Luo

Abstract

In the process of the core literacy-oriented PE curriculum reform, large unit teaching has gradually become an important breakthrough to solve the problem of class fragmentation. UbD theory takes reverse design as the core method, and advocates reverse deduction
of teaching activities from expected learning results, which provides a set of systematic design ideas for large unit teaching of physical education. Combined with the training orientation of physical education professionals in colleges and universities and the practice of physical
education in primary and secondary schools, this paper builds a large unit design framework from three dimensions: target anchoring, content
integration and task design, and sorts out the specific practices of classroom implementation from four levels: situational introduction, ladder
advancement, comprehensive practice and feedback adjustment, which can provide specific reference for the landing classroom of core accomplishments of physical education disciplines, and also provide theoretical support for the reform of teaching methods of physical education majors in colleges and universities.
