Research on Teaching Reform of the Postgraduate Course Information Acquisition and Intellectual Property Rights in the Context of AI

Di Gao, Qian Li*, Tao Peng*

Abstract

Information Acquisition and Intellectual Property Rights helps students master basic methods and technologies for information retrieval and utilization, acquire knowledge related to intellectual property rights, improve postgraduates' ability to obtain valid information, and
strengthen their awareness of intellectual property protection. The rapid development of generative artificial intelligence has revolutionized
the modes of academic information acquisition, the logic of knowledge production, and the intellectual property protection system, posing
an impact on the traditional teaching system of the postgraduate course Information Acquisition and Intellectual Property Rights. At present,
postgraduate courses generally suffer from outdated teaching content that lags behind the development of AI technology, disconnected education between information literacy and intellectual property rule of law, inadequate practical teaching systems, and rigid assessment and evaluation models, which fail to meet the training demands for high-level innovative talents in the intelligent era. Against the backdrop of emerging
engineering development and the national intellectual property rights strategy, this paper combines the core characteristics of AI-enabled
teaching, analyzes the prominent pain points in course teaching, and constructs a four-in-one curriculum reform system featuring "technology
empowerment, rule of law guidance, practical training, and ethical constraints".
