A Study on the Evolution of Mongolian Customs in Ningxia from the Perspective of Cultural Exchange and Mutual Learning
Abstract
Cultural exchange, mutual learning, integration and coexistence of ethnic groups are significant channels to promote the close integration of the Chinese national community, and the mutual penetration and integration of different cultures in a region are also the direct driving force for the development and evolution of ethnic minority folk customs. The Mongolian people of Ningxia are living in a multi-ethnic
area in Northwest China. Having co-existed with Han and Hui for a long time and having deep interactions with them, they experienced great
changes in traditional aspects of production and daily life, rituals and festivals, food and clothing through the constant collision and mutual
absorption of different cultures.
