From "Cultural Prototype" to "Teaching Paradigm": A Research on the Path of Empowering Baima Tibetan Dance "Golden Courses" in Vocational Education with Digital Twin

Abstract

Baima Zang nationality's Zhuo dance and Jiaogai dance are core intangible cultural heritages as resource of aesthetics and communities of learning in vocational education. Provincial-level Master Teacher's Gold Course "Dancing the Circle of Unity - Embodied Experience
of Ethnic Spirit, " is facing limitation because it was instructed offline, there's variation in its standardization and only surface culture disseminated, not easy to apply extensively. Based on vocational education, following "two features and one level" criteria for gold course, taking
theory of physical gene, reconstructing cultural archetypes based on field investigation, collecting multimodal information with a digital gene
repository, creating a virtual situation making digital duplicates of these dances. A three dimensional integrated teaching model is established
and validated via small class experiments. From the figure we can see that this model successfully links up movement training and cultural
interpretation which fixes the problem where too much emphasis is being placed on technique over culture. Complete path for building digital
gold courses is provided and prototype teaching platform is created. Provide solution that is capable to replicate gold course in the realm of
intangible cultural heritage dance and dynamic transfer within Sichuan's higher vocational institution.
