Traditional Guangfu folk crafts are an important embodiment of Lingnan culture and one of the unique cultural attractions of the
Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With the development of the new era, many traditional folk crafts have not received effective investigation and support, entering an endangered state. This research analyzes the value and current situation of traditional Guangfu folk
crafts in the new era, formation factors and reasons for becoming endangered, distribution, categories and practical pain points of endangered
folk traditional crafts, and explores investigation methods and database establishment for endangered traditional Guangfu folk crafts in the
new era. The aim is to achieve scientific preservation of intangible cultural heritage techniques, dynamic monitoring, and graded rescue, forming replicable and scalable methods for investigating endangered regional crafts and establishing digital archives, providing practical models
for the digital protection of intangible cultural heritage in the Greater Bay Area and across the nation in the new era.
