Research on the Image of China in Chinese American Science Fiction

Abstract


Chinese American writers used many Chinese elements in their novels to show the true ethnic image of the Western world which
spread Chinese values. This article systematically explains the Chinese cultural symbols in the works of famous Chinese science fiction writers such as Ken Liu, Ted Chiang, Wesley Chu, William Wu and Gish Jen. Exploring the image of China can help readers understand the inherent cultural value, which is conducive to the realization of cultural equality and mutual learning in the world and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
