An Analysis of the Values in Celest Ngs Everything I Never Told You From the Feminist Perspective
Abstract
As a female writer living in a patriarchal society, Celeste Ng has a lot of deep thinking about female values and related issues. This paper
analyzed the values in Everything I never told you from a feminist perspective. The paper focused on two important characters in the novel:
Marilyn and Lydia and analyzed various silent acts in the novel to explore the values embodied by the characters in the silent process. The
values in this book can be enlightening to contemporary women readers in their life and work.
