From Differential Love to Equal Coexistence: The Ethical Ontological Transformation of Ethnic Interaction in Southwest China - An Ethical Dialogue Based on Confucian Benevolence and Miao Peoples Yilang System

Xuan Wang

Abstract

This paper takes the Confucian idea of "benevolence" and the Miao Peoples Yilang System as the research objects and reveals
the transformation logic of ethical ontology in ethnic interactions in Southwest China through ethical comparative analysis. The study found
that the Confucian benevolence constructed the ethical pattern of "differential love" based on bloodline hierarchy, while the "Yilang system"
formed the order of "symbiotic ethics" through equal consultation. In the context of historical evolution and the impact of modernity, the ethnic groups in Southwest China have achieved an ontological transformation from differential ethics to equal ethics through cultural mutual
learning, institutional innovation and value reconstruction. This process has not only promoted ethnic interaction and integration, but also provided an ethical paradigm reference for the construction of the Chinese nation community.
