When Oriental Aesthetics Meets AI: The Potential of Kansei Engineering in Multimodal GUI Narratives of Chinese Cultural Identity
Abstract
in Chinese cultural aesthetics. As generative AI platforms reshape creative processes, the design of culturally resonant and emotionally engaging interfaces has become critical for effective digital storytelling. Drawing from Kansei (Kansei) engineering, East Asian aesthetic principles,
and prompt engineering practices, this paper constructs a multimodal discourse model for GUI design. Through prompt lexicon analysis and
GUI case studies, it proposes a framework for human-AI co-creation that facilitates global dissemination of Chinese narratives.
