Jiaqi Zhu, Chenchen Huang, Xiaoyan Bian

Abstract

The urban subway public spaces often suffer from homogeneity and cultural deficiency. The Nantong subway also lacks distinct regional characteristics. Meanwhile, the rich local intangible cultural heritage is facing difficulties in inheritance. Based on the requirements of
sustainable development and cultural inheritance, this paper explores the path of integrating the diverse intangible cultural heritage elements
of Nantong into subway public art. It proposes to promote the co-development of the dynamic inheritance of intangible cultural heritage and
the improvement of the cultural quality of subway spaces through the combination of scene creation and digital expression, providing practical references for the cultural construction of urban underground spaces.
