Integrating Chinese Cultural Heritage into Modern Video Games: Visual, Musical, and Historical Dimensions

helped spread it globally. However, this representation is often limited and repetitive, relying on familiar cultural clich that verge on caricature. This article examines recurring portrayals of Chinese culture in video games, exploring their usage, cultural significance, and the meaning behind these representations. We highlight how frequently reused motifs contribute to a narrow perspective.
