Cultural Memory Remodeling and Ecological Landscape Coordination -- Research on rural planning path of Doumen Town under the background of Guangdong Hundred Thousand Project

Jun Yao, Fei Deng

Abstract

Doumen Town in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province has pioneered an integrated rural development model that harmonizes cultural
heritage revitalization with ecological landscape preservation. Through reconstructing folk cultural symbols via cultural memory theory, the
town has implemented green infrastructure and low-impact development technologies guided by ecological synergy principles. By applying
media convergence theory to create virtual-real interactive systems, it has developed a three-dimensional collaborative planning framework
encompassing cultural preservation, ecological restoration, and technological innovation. This model not only addresses critical challenges
such as cultural disconnection, ecological fragmentation, and technological obsolescence, but also provides replicable, distinctive reference
models for similar rural communities.
