value implications of Preface to the Lanting Pavilion as the starting point, this paper expounds its profound influence on contemporary higher
calligraphy education from the perspective of "Literature as a Vehicle for Dao", as well as its guiding and reference significance for contempo
rary calligraphy creation practice and calligraphy theoretical research.
