Analysis on the Paradigm Transformation of Vocational Education in the Artificial Intelligence Era

Abstract


Against the backdrop of rapid development and widespread application of artificial intelligence (AI), traditional vocational education is confronted with dilemmas including rigid teaching models, outdated curriculum content, and inconsistent talent training objectives with
industrial demands. This paper analyzes the impact of AI on vocational education, clarifies the necessity of paradigm transformation, and puts
forward three core directions: intelligent reconstruction of curriculum system, innovation of teaching methods supported by virtual simulation and personalized learning, and reform of diversified and process-oriented evaluation mechanism. It also sorts out obstacles such as high
technology application cost, insufficient teachers' competence and backward educational concepts, and proposes countermeasures including
increasing financial support, strengthening school-enterprise cooperation, improving teacher training system and optimizing incentive mechanism. The study holds that paradigm transformation of vocational education in the AI era is an inevitable requirement to adapt to industrial
upgrading and cultivate innovative technical talents. With joint efforts of the government, colleges and enterprises, vocational education will
develop towards intelligence, personalization and diversification, so as to provide strong talent support for social and economic development.
