Innovation and Practice of English Teaching Mode Based on Autonomous Learning Theory
Abstract
students to obtain information and knowledge compared with the traditional classroom, which also puts forward higher requirements for students'
learning ability. Autonomous learning ability is not only an inevitable requirement of modern information-based teaching mode, but also a solid
foundation for efficient acquisition of a large amount of knowledge in the future. This paper also discusses the internal and external factors that
affect students' autonomous learning, such as the relevant qualities of students themselves, some teaching concepts of teachers, and teaching
strategies. In the end, the author summarizes the teaching design model, and puts forward the six countermeasures to improve students' English
autonomous learning ability, that is: stimulating students' learning motivation, improving the students' learning methods, cultivating students'
autonomous learning consciousness, the diversification of teaching methods, increasing in the knowledge reserve of teachers, improving teachers'
teaching ideas. The cultivation of autonomous learning habits can not only significantly improve the current learning effect of students, but also
have a profound impact on the long-term development of students in the future. Therefore, teachers should pay enough attention to it.
